I didn't hate it… the race swapping didn't bother me as much as I thought. The gender swapping also didn't bother me as much either. Knowing it's in a different universe kinda helped a bit. It doesn’t feel like it is being driven down our throats either, which is good. Butttttt. Only time will tell. I hope it doesn’t suck more. Changing the origin story a bit was a tad different. But not horrible. His drive to help others still feels grounded. Uncle Ben is still prominent in his mind. I don't know. I just hope it doesn’t go downhill. So far. I like it. Better than most Disney shows as of late.
Has anyone seen Doomcock and WDW Pro in the same room together?
spooder-man was better
Spiderman and his black friends
Its actually a pretty good take, not "woke", but very reflective of an actual New York. You all are wayyyyy to sensitive. I've been watching Spiderman Cartoons for 50 years…and this one is a very good story.
My god the left just wins all the time. They've shifted the Overton window so far to the left that people are afraid to say anything bad about race and gender swaps! Sad
saw the first two episodes — and it's hilarious how woke it is; can´t wait for the next episode, any guess who will be trans?
I've been saying way over a year that this show was going a suck . Guess what I wasn't wrong. I was so right . I will not ever watch this crap again.
It seems a lot of people didn't bother to read up on this series. It's based in an alternate timeline. Thats why EVERYTHING is different. No one said anything when What If changed everything. This series changed things all of a sudden its woke and its dei.
They messed up batman on Prime, too. Can't they come up with there own ideas instead of piggy backing everything.
The show is FIRE! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 A dumpster fire to be exact.
Honestly wasn’t paying a lot of attention his name was Butane… I thought he was a early cheap Firefly
Have you read anything from little July and from the incest sisters?
Boycott this garbage already
Trash show 😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉
It came out in February guys… that’s why it’s setup like this…
Disney has become Midas… Everything they touch 😢🎉😢
People should go and watch the 90's shows so that Disney gets the point lol
This is the most disgusting, ignorant, racist review I've ever seen. The fact that you guys are so bothered by color, race and diversity says a lot. Sorry this isn't the "good ole boys" Spider-Man you all want. Kevin, you should be ashamed of yourself bro. Out here tap dancing for massa. I've been reading Spider-Man since I was 4 and this show is refreshing….God forbid a white person does something bad in the show, now it's "woke". God forbid, his love interest has broad shoulders, now it's "woke" more than one black person on the show, woke. Kevin looking like an Uncle Tom right now. News flash, you'll never be white and never be accepted by them. You guys literally made a whole video about how much race bothers you. Way to show your racism guys.
The Lizard being a black chick is just wild.
The show is well written. The art is fire. The characters are relatable. I’m not a fan of race/gender swapping characters like Osborne and Dr. Conner’s. I can overlook it. It’s a bit kiddy compared to 90s Spider-Man. I enjoyed the show.
Please stop calling everything woke dei has nothing to do with actually be awaken
Spiderghettoman. What a load of garbage! Obviously going to be another disney disaster
well it looked like a good show
oh look only spiderman is whit ! black wash bullshit !
My god Marvel is dying Disney got stan lee turning in his grave over what is going on with his baby man.
I think Bob iger sold his stock. He don't care. He's made his millions plus he gets a salary. I don't think he cares. What happens to Disney?
X men 97 was incredible then we get this slop
Didnt like the race swap of iconic characters, shame we not go much lgbtq…
Need a lgbtq Spiderman himself, but i dont hate the show
Wheres he's powers, using machine tech 4 webbing
Its woke tho making all white characters as villians but not 4 the heroes
I'm going back to the 90's AU.
This looks awful
Someone should write a book about it, how Disney destroyed the Marvel, Star Wars and Predator franchises with Woke bullshit!!!!!!
I turned this on for my grandsons and then turned it off within the first few minutes. Should have known better since it was on Disney Plus. Fortunately, there are many other services and shows to pick from.
Who is this disney of whom you speak?
disney just loves cultural appropriation!
I guess this animation was supposed to be about Miles Morales but it got so bad and so woke that they changed in the end to Spider Man so they dont completely destroy Miles…
Ultimate spider-man game did it way better. And didn’t have the woke nonsense
😂 you guys are hilarious!!! That deserves a subscribe
My new biggest problem with the show after the lack of good portrayal of white people in the show was the wokeness change of Peter's lab partner, Lonnie, who should become Tombstone; the Albino African American who was teased as a child for being different and turned villainous is now a popular dark skin black kid.
Any one else think it’s weird that there shipping spider man with some old a nuff to be his baby sitter?
I watched first episode, it was beyond bad, so I put on the 90s version – even my 8year daughter preferred the older version! When will they learn?
The reason they used the used multi-verse is so they could just race/gender swap characters and use the excuse of the multi-verse for the swaps they did and basically making all white people criminals which is the main focus of disney now and identity politics to push an agenda. Disney making a woke Spider-Man cartoon and using the multi-verse theory to justify and cover the woke sh*t they make the main focus of all their series/movies they create now instead of characters people want to see or good story that keep people watching and wanting more of the stuff they create.
God Bless.
Teenager Peter Parker just doesn't fit into this Urban world, now if they wanted to do an Urban Spider-Man they could have just did Miles Morales as an animated series, Parker was just a teenage suburban superhero personality I'm tired of Spider-Man seeing a teenager, I personally prefer the adult Spider-Man or rather I would rather see the 90's animated series come back featuring Miles Morales in high school as the main character this time around or maybe it can even be a spin-off of the 90s animated series, although I hate race swap characters, genderbended and the alterations of sexuality preferences, and they wonder why comic books are not selling the way that they should.
Does this show take place in the multiverse? I think the animation looks cheap and badly done. Disney pushing DEI political ideology into a kids show.
