Chris Rock's joke about Jada Pinkett Smith's lack of hair was not insensitive in any for it was pretty unclear whether or not he really knew anything about Jada's medicial condition that was causing her hair loss. Will and Jada may have talked about it a lot leading up to the Oscars last year, it is unknown if Rock truly paid any attention to any of it. Will should have stayed seated and kept his mouth shut for Rock did nothing wrong.
Smith should have given the award back – he has no respect for the oscars and anyone who responds to words with physical violence has a serious aggression issue that needs long term therapy as well as an assault charge.
