In this episode we cover news about OLED iPad minis, Foldable MacBooks, 2nm chips, iPhone SE pricing, Snapdragon chips, M4 …

Title: Apple's Future Innovations: OLED iPad mini, Foldable MacBook, and More

In the ever-evolving world of technology, Apple continues to make waves with its latest rumored developments. Here's a look at some of the exciting advancements that could be on the horizon for the tech giant.

1. OLED iPad mini: Apple is reportedly planning to launch a smaller, more affordable iPad with an OLED display. This shift from the current LCD technology could potentially result in thinner, lighter, and more power-efficient devices. The move would also allow Apple to compete more effectively in the budget tablet market.

2. Foldable MacBook: While foldable smartphones have been the talk of the town, Apple is rumored to be working on a foldable MacBook. This innovative device could offer the portability of a tablet and the power of a laptop, making it an ideal choice for those constantly on the go.

3. iPhone with Under-Display Touch ID: In a bid to eliminate the notch, Apple is said to be working on a new iPhone model with an under-display Touch ID sensor. This would allow for a nearly bezel-less display, enhancing the overall user experience.

4. AR/VR Headset: Apple is also reportedly developing an AR/VR headset, which could potentially revolutionize the way we consume media and interact with technology. The headset is expected to feature high-resolution displays, advanced sensors, and integration with iOS devices.

While these rumors are exciting, it's essential to note that they are unconfirmed by Apple. However, given the company's history of innovation, it's not hard to imagine these technologies becoming a reality in the near future. Stay tuned for more updates as these potential game-changers continue to make headlines.

  • Stress meter? First it's Microsloth spying on everything you do and now Apple is wanting to spy on your behavior? Do I really need to ditch everything and go Linux? I hope not.

  • Craig, I know your download numbers are averages but they seem somewhat dated. We're in Western Washington and have high speed internet only (no TV), and over the last four years Xfinity has boosted our download speeds from 200 to 600 Mbps. Amazingly, they raised the cost only $6.00 (that's six dollars!) per month.
Also, Walmart and Amazon have the M1 iPad Air 5 base model on sale for $399. Mine is in the mail, and I gifted my 10th gen iPad to my son for his birthday this week (he's 43, which doesn't seem possible, that would make me old).

  • The Settings App is a mess. I’ve just gotten to the point where I just use the search box at the top to find anything. I hope they just give us back the old layout. Maybe they could add the power scheduler back so I don’t have to google the terminal commands every time I want to make an adjustment.

  • Beer looks good, Trade in iPads basically Apple doesn’t offer much,

  • Apple are taking too long with the M4 Mac Mini. The current M2 seems old now. I am after a new Mac Mini but no way I'm buying an M2.

  • I have a 2013 iPad Air that looks brand new, and still works great. The only problem is no updates from Apple, and a lot of APP´s don´t work, and the battery only lasts 3 hours. I´m planning on getting a new battery put in it.

  • texting with big hands and fingers is brutal

  • 10:24 My ancient iPad 2 from 2011 finally bit the dust. The battery's shot and the charging cable's busted, so I had to toss it. To be honest, I barely use my iPad—even the M2 iPad Pro—since my 16” MBP M3 Pro does everything I need. Probably won't be picking up another iPad anytime soon.

Oh, I tried Erdinger beer and it’s smooth AF đŸē 🤭😆

  • 17:12 The big 'IF' here is because just two days ago, China started a couple of days of military drills near Taiwan, with the US military watching closely. If the worst happens and China manages to take over Taiwan, we're looking at a major shift in global power, especially since they'd control TSMC then and ultimately control most if not all electronic productions that using TSMC chips. It’s an economic war.

  • 5th Gen M1 12.9 256 gb when It came out, I will keep this for the next Three Years Thank You

  • miseducation by Lauren hill is one of the best albums of all time. anyone who listened to music and cds in the late 90s knows thisâ€Ļno doubt.

  • Oh, they purposely did the Lauryn Hill #1 album to get people talking about it since engagement, good or bad, will drive more views and clicks. And online, that's all that matters. And this is coming form a Fugees fan lol.

  • Fantastic Work Craig. This video series you have going here with Apple articles is something I look forward to when you upload and put them on the channel keep it going. Thanks for the continued content you put on the channel. Been a long time sub and hope the channel continues to grow for you.

  • I really want these M4 gpu's to actually compete against the latest AMD or Nvidia but I don't think that's the case. I believe something like the base M4 mac mini's gpu will probably be something along the line of a RTX 4050 laptop gpu.

Even the M1 Pro base gpu are better than the M3 base gpu.

I am hoping the M4 will at least step it up in case of gpu and will actually be closer to a 4060ti or even 4070 at least.

CPU wise, Apple has always been top notch.

  • Im 6'4 220lbs with enormous hands. Only resoan I want the ultra is the biggest screen possible. I daily drive the 13 pro Max and STILL havent used half the features. My work cell is an iphone 8 S Plus that still works phenomenally on the original battery so getting the ultra isnt to flex but just the biggest display possible. Id buy a phone with an 8" display
