Title: Former Chinese Spy Urges Australia to Align with US Amidst Potential Conflict

In a recent development, a former Chinese spy, Wang Liqiang, has called on Australia to side with the United States in the event of a potential conflict with China. This revelation, made in an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), sheds light on the growing tensions between the two global powers.

Wang Liqiang, who claims to have worked for China's Ministry of State Security, alleged that China's Communist Party is involved in espionage, cyber-attacks, and political interference around the world. He specifically mentioned Australia as a target, stating that Chinese intelligence services have infiltrated Australian universities and political parties.

This is a significant revelation, as it comes amidst heightened geopolitical tensions between China and several Western nations, including the United States and Australia. The Australian government has already taken steps to address foreign interference, including passing the Foreign Influence Transparency Scheme Act in 2018. However, Wang's claims suggest that the issue may be more widespread and severe than previously thought.

The Australian government has not yet responded to Wang's allegations. It is unclear whether the government will take any further action in response to these claims, or whether they will have any impact on Australia's relationship with China.

In summary, a former Chinese spy has urged Australia to align with the United States in the event of a potential conflict with China. Wang Liqiang's claims, if verified, could have significant implications for Australia's foreign policy and its relationship with China. The Australian government has yet to respond to these allegations.

  • That is a very good point. If China goes to the war with the US over Taiwan and we don’t help the US, then our US alliance is screwed. Then we will be left alone with China which will look hungrily at all our natural resources.

  • If China won, every country will suffer from his influence from many things like political, security etc. She can dictate what she wants and even get to block many power to kneel to her to using the scs.

  • Australians need to 'Man Up'. They used to be tough, now they have become wusses. Possibly they are expecting the seventh cavalry to arrive and save them, but the yanks are broke. It is a good thing that the Poms are here to save them.

  • Am I the only one who hates this Chinese woman named Cheng Lei?

  • Powerfull man have already made up his mind , it is not a matter of war or peace but when will it begin ,

  • Indeed, Australia is now a vassal of United States, used to be a stooge of Great Britain.

  • If a country wants to stay a lone wolve any country shouldn't have a problem.. the US will make them sacrifice everything for nothing

  • Australia siding with the United States of War will be to our detriment, what does it take for our politicians to realise that the Yanks are the only terrorists on planet earth.FACT .!!!

  • Taiwan, the Philippines, and to some extent Indonesia is your insulation from China Navy. You only have to worry about the PLAs ICBMs and your economies' over-dependence with China.

  • A former "Chinese spy" to which country?
To AU? But can't speak fluent English and require an interpreter?
And the interpreter refused to translate his comments in a live event [the Defending Australia Summit in Canberra]?
Is his language foreign to everyone in the audience?
And the interpreter herself is an AU spy.
If this is not a silly farce that AU always indulged in, what is this?

  • I see a lot of Chinese bots here agreeing to their own bot 😂

  • If this so called former china spy can influence Australia, than Australia shouldn't be called a sovereign country

  • The enemy is within of daily self paranoid.

  • Just change the flag if it's such an issue to use 1 flag…

  • Australia should also maintain good relations with Singapore given they have air force bases in Australia…

  • So, this guy claimed to be a spy, and thats it, he is a spy?
    I'm from Mars. 😅

  • She is Australian spy used to work in China not a Chinese spy. The title of this video confused me.

  • The elected governments over the years have had ample time to deal with the china issues and yet chose to sit on there hands and be arrogant ignorant and now the light dawns on them to gather there shit together when it's too bloody late. Typical of the government.
    Just clueless
