Taking the tunnels to Sinai must be one of the highest priorities for Israel. But this offensive and prolonged war must be not only costful for Israel, for civilians who need food every day a proloning of the war cannot be a favorite situation. Biden and Blinken should have pushed Egypt to open the borders for refugees and let Israel finish this as fast as possible. The months of prolonging have caused deaths just in itself. At the same time Hamas got time to move hostages and restructure. Biden does not seem like an allie to neither Israel nor the civilians in Gaza.
