Title: AMD's Upcoming Zen 5 Processor: A Glimpse into the Ryzen 9000 Series
In a recent leak, details regarding AMD's highly anticipated Zen 5 processor, the Ryzen 9000 series, have surfaced. The information, though unofficial, offers a tantalizing glimpse into the future of high-performance computing.
The Ryzen 9000 series is expected to be built on TSMC's 3nm process technology, a significant leap from the current 7nm process used in the Ryzen 5000 series. This advancement promises improved power efficiency and potentially higher performance, making it a formidable competitor in the market.
The leaked specifications suggest that the Ryzen 9 9900X, a top-tier model in the series, could feature 16 cores and 32 threads. If these numbers hold true, it would mark a significant increase from the current Ryzen 9 5950X, which boasts 16 cores and 32 threads as well. However, it's essential to approach these numbers with caution, as they are based on unconfirmed leaks.
As for the release date, the leaks suggest a late 2022 or early 2023 launch. AMD has yet to officially confirm these dates, but given the pace of technological advancement, a release within this timeframe seems plausible.
The Ryzen 9000 series, if the leaks prove accurate, could revolutionize the high-end desktop market. AMD's focus on power efficiency and performance could challenge Intel's dominance in this sector, leading to a more competitive and innovative landscape for consumers.
In the meantime, enthusiasts and tech aficionados eagerly await official announcements from AMD regarding the Zen 5 processors and the Ryzen 9000 series. As always, the world of technology promises exciting developments, and the Ryzen 9000 series is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated.

Take it with a grain of salt
I'd be excited for a 9800X3D tbh.
Dont let the hype train go off the rails. Very doubtful IPC will be 30%. I have heard 16-20% is likely. Also clocks are 5.7-5.9GHz, 5.8 is likely.
Amd please +core and thred
I'm hoping they will do a 24/48 core/thread version for zen 5. This could be optimized for systems with 48/96/192gb ram systems. Hopefully with nvidia releaseing a nice 48gb vram card or something. All optimized to max board performance.
Meanwhile, Intel's 14900KS consumes around 409w stock. That's 4090 power. Needing an industrial cooling solution for a PC?
Ok, dude, relaaaax, we're not gonna see 66% performance boost.
Why do I feel like 6 minutes of a looping statement… Faster, faster, faster, percentage faster, faster…. Etc
Time will tell.
I just dropped in a 5800X3D into my AM4 system and that'll do for a while.
I'll stick to Intel. I need a workhorse, not a toy.
Are you The Display Guy
Zen 5? More like "Ze performance is gonna be sky-high!" 👍
A man can dream but it's always wise to wait for release and see the actual numbers as well as allow any potential unforeseen issues to be exposed.
It will be AM5 ?
It +/- 50% faster may look like a huge performance jump, but it took 2 years, so it's really just the normal gradual improvement that we're used to.
I always love this time of year it’s the ‘intel is in trouble’ time of year. It’s usually followed by ‘ryzen is the best for gaming’ time of year and then followed by ‘intel is still the fastest’ time of year.
Hope they can finally beat intel while not having lower 1% lows in every game
Imagine a 16 core zen 5 processor with 880m igpu at 400 dollars price point and 880m performs similar to an rtx 4060
Which motherboard will support
its incredible how these cpu's are made. a marvel in human history!
I would stop showing off EVGA motherboards due to company no longer in motherboard business. They won't be releasing any new BIOS updates. EVGA never released a BIOS update for it's Z790 motherboard like they promised customers.
The redteck leaker just confirmed he had a typo, saying its actually 666% increase and its gona be a beast
As a founding TEAM RED member, I kept asking AMD when they were going to do what intel did with dual threads, their response was always silence!~
Click bait
So we started with 20% IPC gain, another youtuber said it is actually 46%, and now this one says 66% performance gain. What a beast AMD is to jump with 20% IPC every 2-3 days, Jesus.
I’m an AMD fanboy and even I know this is bullshit.
God bless your all if amd dont add 20 cores then im going 14700k
We could potentially see ryzen 9000 processors with boost clocks upto 6ghz, making 3rd ryzen processors look seriously outdated.
Click bait video
Doubt they get over 25% better. A 20% would be big. Red tech gaming is click bait, like this.
May i ask what kind of accent is this? I hear this often when someone is trying to hype things up. It sounds super fake, but I may be wrong, so that's why I'm wondering.
Freaking YouTubers and numbers….
Yeah be 300% faster then my system that's still fast enough for me intel 6700k 😂
Hopefully it causes motherboard prices to drop (if they release a new motherboard for it)
Probably worst video I have ever seen
Horribly irresponsible take. 66% increase because you added up theoretical increases from different technologies? That's not how math works. You would have to measure the benefit of each one and then compare the data gathered from having all of those boosts versus not. The result wouldn't necessarily come out the same.
AMD fanboys are horrible.
