9800x3D for black Friday!
I will wait for the X3D announcements.
Which probably will drop after arrow lake so they can top them again.
Hey – I’m trying to build my first ever PC. My budget for the PC alone is $1,500 (give or take $100). You suggested to wait, but I’m a simple person, and feel like the Ryzen 7800 xd3 would be perfect for my need. Are you suggesting to wait because of the possibility of prices coming down in July for chips like that?
Is there any increment to the number of cpie lanes ?
Here i am with my 2600x, 2060 super still doing a great job.
Biggest nothing burger launch ever 😂
Who cares?
I have a 3700x wondering if a 5700x3d would be a good upgrade in 1440p gaming paired with a 4070 super. I feel held back. And now the 5700x3d is 199.99 on amazon
I hope they make a 5950x-3D chip but I doubt it
I was kind of hoping that AM5 would have a long life when i did a new build with it 1,5 years ago. Now i'm happy 😊😊😊😊
Thank you for your videos. They are very entertaining and i like them very much.
Greetings all the way from Germany.
They jumped over 700 motherboards for quite petty reasons. Because they didn't wanna look like they are "falling" behind INTEL. Cause Intel will be on 800 so the AMD needs to be.
I'm happy to see the 65W TDP for the R5 and R7. I was hoping that AMD would give us a box cooler with them as well, but it seems unlikely :c
Thanks, Jason, give The Bear a neck rub for me. Tater says hi or well Meow. 👍✌😺🐱🐈
Smart people never trust to pictures
I just build a gaming pc with r5 7600 yesterday ☠️
I love you❤
The price will be a bit higher. Current will not drop much. Maybe few euros. My guess
7500f for 125 USD is a STEAL
Jason. Would you take a 9700x over the top epyc 4000s 65w equivalent for a server build?
I think this 9000 gen is for people who wants an absolutely new build. For folks like me who has 7000 it doesn't make a lot of sense
Hope 9000 will be really great and 10000 or 11000 will be only better and then we will upgrade our stuff
I hope with this generation they will deal with long loading times due to long memory training, because Intel seems to have no problem with this (at least I haven’t heard about it, maybe this is a general problem with DDR5 memory with a high frequency, regardless of the cpu)
I also hope they will slightly improve heat dissipation (especially the reduced area and thicker lid)
and they won't charge for 9600x as for 14900
Oh man dangg. i just got my 7800x3d b650livemixer 6800mhz 32gb ramm with my old 6800xt should i sell imy computer to get new one or what should i do
It's Jason's PCB AweZen 9000X !! ❤
I think i will stick with i5 4470
2027+ on AM5 that is good news!
I have absolutely loved the am4 platform. I'm probably going to be bumping into am5 by the end of 2025 and look forward to using it as long as I did my am4.
love your videos bro
Just scooped up microcenter $525 bundle with 5800x3d and 7600.
The had a 7800x3d with ram/mobo for $480 as well.
Couldn't help it, prices were so low.
I was an AMD user since the Athlon days but they fell so far behind that I had to switch to Intel. It's been gratifying to see AMD pick up wins these last few years. And my Ryzen 7 3700X is still going strong with the help of the 7800XT. Thanks for the recommendation on that card!
Me on my 3600
Ryzen 5 7600 is 120$ now at AliExpress
Got 7500F for 93$
Jason, great job calling out AMD on that lie; I didn't see any other influencers bring that up… Super Sleazy of AMD! Why does their marketing department feel like they need to lie when they're pretty much announcing a cornering of the market? They need to put an engineer as leader over their marketing team to call BS and hold them accountable to the truth! Or just replace the marketing team all together because they absolutely suck pickles…
Have to admit the sketchiness of AMD using benches with a 6600XT gpu then defending why with weasel words makes me want to wait for real world benches. I'm still rocking a 3800X and it's given me no problems, 5000 series wasn't big enough upgrade for me to justify it, 7000 was close but has a significant cost for new platform, so 9000 might be the push to upgrade but I have to see benches first
👍
I dont think zen 5 is worth it as of right now
I think 9800x3d will come out april in 2025 i would be happy with that
Why wait for the new CPU for gaming , while 7 7800x3d is never going to be a bottleneck for any GPU( may be only for 4090 in some cases) . New cpu for gaming is simply not needed as of now
I'm Exited about these Announcements: 1. AM 4 Platform Life Extension! 2. AM 5 Platform Life Extended to 2027! I may still have time to make the Jump to AM5 ??
done with amd.
Literally ordered my 7600 2 days ago…😂
If eventually want to build a pc for both gaming and productivity (video editing etc) but want it to be great for gaming as well is it better to take the "3D" or non 3D cpu?
Was about to order my 7600x paired with a sweet rx 7800xt i found on sale but i guess i have to wait now?
Lackluster release, the benchmark was against 14900k with 6400mhz memory, with higher speed memory, it will just be on par with raptor lake,
It’s joever
its over 9000!! 😆
I think I’ll upgrade my 3900X to the 5900XT im not jumping the ship to AM5 still
Thanks for the top upload!
The cpus look most interesting.
I can't wait for the X3D version.
I was just about to buy a 7800x3D with a B650 motherboard total build is about $1600. Should I wait or build now?
Note: When showing previous data for the 5950X, the arrow is mistakenly pointing to the 5900X. The % difference stated is correct.
