Title: Leaked AMD Ryzen 9000 Specs Suggest Potential Performance Boost

In a recent development, leaked specifications of AMD's upcoming Ryzen 9000 series have surfaced, offering a glimpse into the future of high-performance computing. While these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, they do provide an interesting insight into what we might expect from AMD's next-generation processors.

The leaked specifications suggest that the Ryzen 9000 series will be built on TSMC's 5nm process, a significant step forward from the current 7nm process used in the Ryzen 5000 series. This shift to a more advanced manufacturing process is expected to result in improved power efficiency and potentially higher performance.

The leaks also indicate that the Ryzen 9000 series will feature Zen 4 architecture, an upgrade from the Zen 3 architecture found in the Ryzen 5000 series. This upgrade is expected to bring further performance improvements, with some reports suggesting a potential 15% increase in single-threaded performance and a 20% increase in multi-threaded performance.

While these leaks are not official and should be treated with caution, they do align with previous reports suggesting that AMD is planning to launch its Ryzen 9000 series in the second half of 2022. If these leaks are accurate, the Ryzen 9000 series could pose a significant challenge to Intel's upcoming Raptor Lake processors, making for an exciting year in the world of high-performance computing.

In conclusion, while the leaked AMD Ryzen 9000 specifications should be treated with caution, they do suggest that AMD is planning to push the boundaries of performance with its next-generation processors. If these leaks are accurate, the Ryzen 9000 series could offer a significant performance boost, making it an exciting prospect for enthusiasts and professionals alike.

  • i need x3d version tooo competeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • You're skipping over the data. According to these leaks there's NOT more power (Watt) needed.
    Ryzen 7950X 170W TDP = 9950X 170W TDP (same)
    Ryzen 7900X 170W TDP > 9900X 120W TDP (less)
    Ryzen 7700X 105W TDP > 9700X 65W TDP (far less)
    Ryzen 7600X 105W TDP > 9600X 65W TDP (far less)
So the new chips are more efficient, apart from the 16 and 12 core ones. Looking at the processor speed and cache, not much will change.
The big gain in Zen 4 (present gen) can be had in undervolting the CPUs. It seems AMD is going that path.
