Title: AMD's Latest CPU Lineup Challenges Intel's Dominance in the Market

In a significant move that could reshape the tech industry landscape, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has unveiled its latest Central Processing Unit (CPU) lineup, aiming to outperform Intel's offerings. The new Ryzen 9 5950X and Ryzen 9 5900X CPUs, part of AMD's new Zen 3 architecture, are designed to deliver faster processing speeds, improved efficiency, and enhanced gaming experiences.

The Ryzen 9 5950X, boasting 16 cores and 32 threads, is AMD's most powerful consumer CPU to date. It promises a 19% increase in instructions per clock (IPC) compared to its predecessor, the Ryzen 9 3950X. Meanwhile, the Ryzen 9 5900X, with 12 cores and 24 threads, is expected to offer a 16% IPC boost over the Ryzen 9 3900X.

  • Learn to read inhells best cpu in that chart ie the inoy one is almost identical to anda lowest part which is FOUR read 4 cores not 6.. lol

  • great information… but that unNAtural INtonAtion of the VOcals. It makes it hard for me to get through a video.

  • my current CPU idle on desktop at 160 – 180 watts, and it is just 12 core

  • This video was ….I couldnt go past 10 seconds of the annoying voice

  • 3:58 Nvidia has had AI CPUs since 2015, quite literally first to market.
I have several of them, the one from 2020 is pretty darn good, about the same AI performance as a 3050(several times more than the 8700G/8845HS) with a low powered SODIMM form factor model that only produces 100TOPS, but again, its the size of a stick of laptop RAM. They even have a low end version of this that produces only 40 TOPS, but apparently has a TDP of 8w

Before anyone says ThEsE aRe EmBeDdEd NoT fOr CoNsUmEr"
Quit parroting experts that dont know their foot from their toilet seat. There is no difference between a consumer and embedded processor other than what device they're installed into, you can take the SODIMM version of Orin, put it in a laptop shell, and now its a consumer CPU.

No one wants them for consumer CPUs because 95% of people dont want ARM based Windows, and those that do, dont want to spend $2500 on a laptop that has a slower CPU than an i5-1240p laptop that costs $800, and Nvidia is not going to give up that margin on the embedded parts

  • so sounds like nvidia hasn't really got something to compete properly now, probably due to holding back and relying on market share to much.
ask that next year however might mean both good for nvidia or bad for nvidia, or in between. as it doesn't give of clear performance numbers. but likely they will make such a APU next year with arm and probably a NPU, and probably also some nvidia integrated graphics like a rtx 4060m or such.

  • Note to Gamer Meld: "Days away" means that the product will be released to consumers within a week. We know English isn't your strong suit .

  • Damn – AMD puts an Epyc hurting on Intel Xeon.🙂 When I need a NAS, I know what to look out for. 😀

  • Many thought that AMD would be dead after the Phenom-era. Many thought that AMD would be even more dead after the FX-era. The first Ryzen-generations were making hope, but they were no breakthrough. And look where AMD is today! They are the literal Phoenix from the ashes. Today, intel is facing enormous difficulties. Their decade of absolute dominance over AMD made them lazy, and today they are paying the price. However, they will be back. It may take a few years for intel to recover, but they won't be destroyed.

  • Destroyed Intel? Sure AMD have catch up due to Intel complacency but Intel still dominate the cpu market.

  • They can release gold plated and diamond encrusted cpu's and I still wouldn't pollute my system with amd crap ………….

  • Intel is the most laziest tech company out there

  • Asking Nvidia if they have a place in the AI PC market is dumb. Obviously they do.

  • Stupid title usually means stupid content…do not recommend.

  • that nvidia "performance" update wont be interesting for anybody in gaming ever^^

  • amd destroying intel in cpu now 😀

  • Me on my 6 year old core i3 8100 watching how amd DESTROYS intel cpus 😂😂

  • I'm never watching you again, frame gen =/= better performance.

    Those aren't real frames. Clickbait

  • That's Michael Dell, not just 'someone from Dell' 🙄
