Title: AMD Unveils Ryzen 9000 Series: Introducing the 9950X, 9900X, 9700X, and 9600 Processors
In a significant stride for the tech industry, AMD has announced its latest Ryzen 9000 series processors. The new lineup includes the 9950X, 9900X, 9700X, and 9600 models, marking a new era in high-performance computing.
This announcement, made on [insert date], is a testament to AMD's commitment to innovation and competition in the CPU market. The Ryzen 9000 series is expected to deliver unparalleled performance, setting new benchmarks for desktop processors.
The 9950X, the flagship model, promises to offer significant improvements in multi-threaded performance, making it an ideal choice for content creators, gamers, and professionals requiring high computational power. The 9900X, 9700X, and 9600 models, while not as powerful, are still expected to deliver impressive performance, catering to a broader range of users.
While AMD has not yet disclosed the exact specifications or release dates for these processors, the announcement has already sparked excitement among tech enthusiasts and industry professionals. The Ryzen 9000 series is anticipated to challenge Intel's dominance in the high-end desktop processor market, potentially ushering in a new era of competition and innovation.

You typed "7600X" instead of "9600X" for your chapters. :p
waiting for the 9999 XTX 3D
When I like videos tonight it acknowledges that I pressed the like button and the thumbs up icon disappears. Weird. Wish companies would stop f'n with things just to make it "different".
9700g that runs games 1080p 60fps will be saucy
Having 7950x paired with 7900 xtx .. it's not worth for me upgrading my cpu to be honest lol.. They doing it again… last decade we heard Gaming this, Gaming that.. now is AI AI this AI that.. and here and there is RTX…
excellent!
I've still got the 3900x.smashes everything I throw at it.
The magical question is.. will it run window 11……65 watts is more like is actually, because I have been loooking for cpus to get more effciant for what it does rather then companies just jam pore power into the thing. But we'll see if they run right as they launch and do things like cook your motherboards ur run like anything alienware ever put out.
I've been hearing good thinks about the 9900X and 9950X. I'll be upgrading my 10850K motherboard and RAM soon… maybe I'll make the switch to Ryzen finally to pair up with my Strix 4090
Sorry but I don't see the thumbs up button…
God help me if we start seeing "AI" in games… "Ryzen AI – The Way Its Meant To Be Played"
can a NPU run stable diffusion locally …
Correction. The 5900XT has a 100mhz lower clock. That's why they went with 5900XT instead of 5950XT.
The random appearing AI naming means the NPU bit of the CPU meets Microsoft's 40 TFLOPS AI performance random benchmark requirement and naming thingy.
I looked up the specs and here's how the new AM4 chips stack up.
The 5900XT is a 5950X with a 3.3 GHz base instead of 3.4 GHz and a 4.8 GHz boost instead of 4.9 GHz.
The 5800XT is the same as the 5800X but it has a 4.8 GHz boost instead of 4.7 GHz. That's it.
Loving the coverage so far, Paul. I hope that you and Joe are enjoying the constant flow of tech news to digest for us, and more importantly the food.
Intel looking well outdated right now
Im curious to know if Graphics and NVME both at 5.0 will matter or not. Prob not.
There's an over 9000 joke in here somewhere.
The way I understand it , it's Microsoft demanding AI NPU in the cpu's.
12:39 Unfortunately, this is the truth. Strix Halo is likely to be 1 of these "AI 9" SKUs, and despite the utterly fucking retarded branding and naming scheme, im still going to buy whatever minisforum system they eventually come out with that has it, especially if its less than $800, 4070 performance in an APU is too good to pass up as a living room media center/ gaming machine. When i want to play more demanding stuff i can steam link to my main gaming setup and still game in the living room with friends without having to drag the shit back and forth. im going to hate buying it, but unless they announce/launch the 9000G series within the next few months, imma still buy it.
I have heard that the AI stuff will not work for DIY builders. This will be for large OEMs like Dell had HP and this is a Microsoft speck. Not sure if I would even want it. However, it should not take long for Linux folks and even MS folks will crack this. Let me know if there is any truth to this?
No X 3D chips…😐
I disagree. I think more people will stay away from AI processors until more reviews come out.
welp looks like i wont be able to get a much better deal on the 7800x3d now…
The AI branding means that AMD products are really f**king a lot more smarter than you can imagine. And when you buy one you'll be telling everyone that as well.
So I am a little curious here as to the ipc/performance. I’ll wait for reviews. I’m curious how much improvement we can expect over the 3d 7000 series on games. I’d assume productivity is a win for the 9k series
Does anyone have any insight about motherboard bios for the new AM4 cpu's? Will X570 need a bios update? Because that's going to be a problem for both of my AM4 boards (EVGA)
Intel and AMDs new mobile naming is complete mess.
this time, i will not be buying the x3d chip. ive been having way to much bottle necking with the 7950x3d chip and im absolutely furious as to how it performs. Plus windows 11 efficiency mode doesn't help either. absolutely terrible experience.
Everyone on cpus is so sick of AI and then I go on nvidia threads and everyone there is AI AI AI xD I don't know what to believe in..
Really confused on the 16-core and 5900 naming.
No x3d? No good
9800X3D is probably going to have basically the same clockspeed since they dropped down to 65w TDP, I wonder how high the clocks will go with PBO2 and the TDP raised back to 105w on the 9700X
CGNPU makes more sense? the slide shows Zen 5 CPU plus Radion 8xxM RDNA 3.5 GPU as you said, plus XDNA 2 NPU the AI you mention in Advantage-Taking added to its name. eh? seems trés simple.😇
I’m still rocking the 2700x, when I get bored of it, looks like I won’t be able to find an upgrade cpu in the market anymore . By then ryzen 20k would be out.
Lol I'll stick with my 13700K 4070 Ti 64GB DDR5-6400 for another couple of years 😀
mb
I dont want AI so I will avoid this entire product line
I'm still I7 9700k @5Ghz but with an RTX 4090 so I need to upgrade later this year. Always been Intel time to jump?
Oh AM3 how we miss you 😢
had me worried that 9950X was going to blow my 7950X out of the water, but with the only difference being Zen 5 architecture to Zen 4, I think I did good to go ahead with the 7950X, no buyers remorse as of yet.
performance to a AMD Ryzen 9 9950X from i7 6700k ?
